Supreme Court dismissed petition for special leave filed by Bhaskar International Private Ltd and others against SBI regarding SARFAESI possession order.
Petitioners sought to halt SBI's takeover of properties linked to an Rs 8.09 crore loan taken in 2019, declared NPA within six months.
Court noted petitioners' delayed repayment offer as premature and upheld the District Magistrate's order, maintaining status quo until 2 June 2026.
The order also criticized SBI's loan sanction process but did not interfere, allowing petitioners to seek interim relief before the DRT.
