BPCL Seeks Shareholder Nod for Rs.8,439 Cr Petronet RPT

BPCL issued a Postal Ballot Notice dated 26 March 2026 seeking shareholder approval for material RPT with Petronet LNG Limited for FY 2026-27.
Proposed transactions worth up to Rs.8,438.61 Crore cover RLNG purchase (Rs.7,955 Cr), regasification services (Rs.481 Cr), and other services at Kochi & Dahej terminals.
The transaction exceeds the Rs.5,000 Crore materiality threshold; BPCL holds 12.50% stake in Petronet LNG, classifying it as an associate and related party.
