CCI Approves Brink's Acquisition of NCR Atleos

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has granted approval for The Brink's Company's acquisition of 100% of the equity share capital of NCR Atleos Corporation. The proposed combination involves the complete acquisition of the target company, which will become wholly owned and controlled by Brink's Company upon completion.

The Acquirer, The Brink's Company, is a global provider of cash and valuables management, digital retail solutions, and ATM managed services with operations spanning over 100 countries. In India, Brink's operates through its subsidiary Brink's India Private Limited, primarily offering cash replenishment services and ancillary first-line maintenance services.

The Target, NCR Atleos Corporation, is a financial technology company specializing in self-directed banking solutions globally. Its Indian operations include four main activities: manufacture and supply of ATM hardware through its Chennai manufacturing facility; development and licensing of ATM software; ATM managed services including monitoring, help-desk, and transaction processing; and comprehensive ATM maintenance services covering both first-line and second-line maintenance.

The approval was announced on July 22, 2026, through the PIB Delhi release mechanism, with the detailed order of the Commission to follow subsequently.
