CCI Approves State Street's Acquisition of Groww Asset Management

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of Groww Asset Management by State Street Global Advisors, a subsidiary of State Street Corporation.
Groww Asset Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Billionbrains Garage Ventures, manages the Groww Mutual Fund and offers equity, hybrid, debt, and ETF schemes.
The approval, granted on March 25, 2026, marks a key regulatory clearance for the transaction, as per the CCI press release.
