Both institutes failed to disclose that successful candidates featured in ads took free online or test series courses, not paid classroom programs.
CCPA has issued over 60 notices and imposed total penalties exceeding ₹1.39 crore on 31 coaching institutes nationwide.
The authority found institutes used student names/photos without proper consent and made unsubstantiated claims about results.
