CGST Delhi South Arrests Director for ₹8 Crore ITC Fraud

CGST Delhi South Commissionerate arrested a company director for fraudulent Input Tax Credit (ITC) availment exceeding ₹8 crore.
Investigation revealed fake ITC claims without underlying supplies from suspended or cancelled supplier firms.
The director admitted to controlling all transactions but failed to provide supporting documentary evidence.
The court remanded the arrested director to judicial custody until April 30, 2026.
