The most significant development is the expansion of eligibility criteria. Whereas initially only investors who had invested up to ₹7,500 were eligible for refunds up to ₹5,000 (after adjustment of commission/refund already received), the recent Supreme Court order dated May 25, 2026 now makes all investors eligible for refunds up to ₹5,000 regardless of their original investment amount. This expansion includes investors who were left out during Phase I of the refund process.
Final Outcome
The Committee has established a dedicated online portal at https://www.citrusroyalrefund.com to process all refund claims. The portal will be open for Phase II refund registration from August 1, 2026 to September 14, 2026 (45 days). The entire refund process will be conducted exclusively through this online portal. Investors are advised to keep their relevant documents ready and register their claims through the portal during the specified period. Detailed instructions will be available on the portal itself.
