Regulatory Compliance Clarification
Coastal Corporation Limited has submitted a clarification to both the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited regarding recent credit rating revision and repayment dates reflected in banking records. The company states it has maintained requisite funds towards scheduled repayment obligations within applicable timelines.
Banker Confirmation Details
The clarification is supported by an email from Mithlesh Meena of DBS Bank India Limited dated 08 August 2026, which provides specific details on five instances of apparent repayment date discrepancies:
- May 31, 2025: Interest recovery for Cash Credit/Overdraft account effected on last working day of month (instead of May 30, 2025) with no observed delay
- December 01, 2025: EMI recovery for two loan accounts manually processed on subsequent working day with value-dating as November 30, 2025
- March 02, 2026: EMI recovery for two loan accounts manually processed on subsequent working day with value-dating as February 28, 2026
- April 08, 2026: EMI recovery delayed due to MTM/FCY movements at facility level exceeding Working Capital limits, despite funds being remitted on March 30, 2026
- May 07, 2026: EMI recovery delayed due to MTM/FCY movements at facility level exceeding Working Capital limits, despite funds being remitted on April 29, 2026
The banker confirms that for the last two instances (April and May 2026), while funds were present in the Cash Credit/Overdraft account, the recovery was delayed due to system limitations preventing partial recovery when overall Working Capital limits were exceeded. Additional funds were subsequently remitted to complete the recoveries.
Account Status Confirmation
The banker explicitly states: "Please note that the account conduct is satisfactory as on date and there is no stress observed in any of the facilities towards repayment for the borrower."
Request to Exchanges
The company has requested both stock exchanges to disseminate this information on their websites.
