Company Response to NSE Query on Financial Results
Query and Response Details
Date of Communication: August 03, 2026
Nature of Query: The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) raised a query via mail dated July 31, 2026, seeking clarification regarding the company's financial results for the period ended June 30, 2026, specifically why the figures reported in the Standalone and Consolidated Financial Statements were identical.
Company's Clarification
CreditAccess Grameen Limited clarified that it has a wholly-owned subsidiary named CreditAccess India Foundation (CAIF), incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. This subsidiary was established solely for undertaking Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities on behalf of the company and does not engage in any commercial operations. Consequently, the subsidiary generates no revenue.
The operational and administrative expenses incurred by CreditAccess India Foundation are entirely funded by CreditAccess Grameen Limited. These expenses are recognized as CSR expenditure in the company's Standalone Financial Statements, in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and relevant accounting standards.
Financial Results Clarification
Since the subsidiary has no revenue or operating income, and all its expenses are already accounted for as CSR costs in both the Standalone and Consolidated Financial Statements (as per Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013), there is no additional revenue or expense impact arising from consolidation. This results in identical revenue figures between the standalone and consolidated statements.
