Deepak Fertilisers And Petrochemicals Corporation Limited has issued a regulatory disclosure regarding the compulsory transfer of equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF).

The event occurred at 9:16 AM on May 28, 2026, when the company received dispatch confirmation from its Registrar and Share Transfer Agent, KFin Technologies Ltd., regarding reminder letters sent to shareholders.

The disclosure concerns shareholders whose dividends remain unpaid/unclaimed for seven or more consecutive years starting from the financial year 2018-19. The action is mandated under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016, as amended.

Shareholders must claim their unpaid dividends by approaching KFin Technologies Ltd. with the required documents on or before August 31, 2026. Required documents include:

  • Self-attested copy of PAN Card and Address Proof in Form ISR-1
  • Copy of cancelled cheque
  • Application-cum-Undertaking duly filled and signed

For physical share holders, the company will issue new certificates for dematerialization and transfer to IEPF, after which original certificates will be automatically cancelled. For electronic holdings, the demat account will be debited through corporate action.

The company emphasizes that after transfer to IEPF, any further dividends or corporate benefits on such shares will be credited to IEPF Authority, and no claims shall lie against the company.

Shareholders are encouraged to update their PAN, KYC details, contact information, bank account details, and nomination with the RTA/company as per SEBI's Master Circular dated February 06, 2026. Physical shareholders must ensure their folio is KYC compliant and nomination details are registered to receive dividend credits.
