Delta Corp Limited has disclosed through a regulatory filing that the Hon'ble Supreme Court has pronounced its order in matters relating to show cause notices issued to the company and its subsidiaries for short payment of goods and services tax (GST).

The order was pronounced on May 28, 2026, but a copy is not yet available to the company. Based on limited information available at the time of filing, the company understands that the Supreme Court has ruled that the basis of computation of revenue for GST determination that Delta Corp adopted since October 2023 will be applicable retrospectively for the period between July 2017 to September 2023.

This represents a favourable outcome for the company as the GST levy will now be calculated on the amount received from players for chips sold to them, rather than on the gross bet value of all games played during the relevant period. The previous method of calculating GST on gross bet value had the effect of notionally multiplying the revenue and consequently increasing the GST payable.

The company states it will provide an update if required upon receipt and review of the detailed order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

The disclosure was signed by Dilip Vaidya, Company Secretary & Vice President-Secretarial (FCS NO.7750), and filed with both the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and BSE Ltd.
