Duke Energy's Robinson Plant Licensed Until 2050

NRC renews operating license for Duke Energy's Robinson Nuclear Plant for an additional 20 years, extending operation to 2050.
The plant supplies power for 570,000 homes and contributes to roughly 51% of Duke Energy’s Carolinas customers’ electricity mix.
License renewal is expected to generate cost savings for customers and sustain economic benefits for Darlington County and the Pee Dee region.
