Ekam Leasing And Finance Co. Limited has received formal approval from the Registrar of Companies, Delhi-II (ROC) for an extension of time to convene its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.
The ROC, vide its letter dated September 14, 2026, granted an extension of three (3) months, allowing the company to conduct its AGM on or before December 31, 2026. This approval was issued under Section 96(1) of the Companies Act, 2013.
The company had made an application to the ROC on August 21, 2026, vide SRN AC5422636, requesting this extension due to unspecified circumstances that prevented it from holding the AGM by the statutory deadline of September 30, 2026. The ROC noted these grounds and considered them sufficient for granting the extension.
The ROC advised the company "to be careful in future in compliance of the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013."
The company will convene and hold its 33rd AGM within this extended timeline and will intimate the actual date of the AGM to the exchange in due course.
