State Tax Officer, Chennai dropped GST demand of ₹46.79 crore (plus interest & penalty) against Escorts Kubota for FY2019-20.
The demand arose from wrong classification of agricultural tractors as road tractors and incorrect GST turnover computation.
All Show Cause Notices dated May 07, 2025 by STO Chennai have now been fully dropped vide order dated March 26, 2026.
Disclosure filed under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations, in continuation of earlier intimations from May 2025 to January 2026.
