Fino Payments Bank Withdraws MD Reappointment Postal Ballot

Fino Payments Bank's Board withdrew the re-appointment resolution for MD & CEO Mr. Rishi Gupta from an ongoing Postal Ballot on March 26, 2026.
The withdrawal follows Mr. Gupta's arrest, dismissal of a Writ petition, and subsequent bail granted by a Hyderabad special court.
E-voting results will now only be declared for agenda item no. 1 (MD & CEO remuneration for FY 2024-25); all votes for agenda no. 2 are null and void.
Re-appointment of Mr. Gupta may be resubmitted to members at an appropriate time, subject to RBI fit-and-proper reassessment and NRC/Board review.
