The powers of the Board of Directors and its committees of Gangotri Textiles Limited stand suspended with effect from 7 August 2026 pursuant to the NCLT order.
Mr. G. Gunasekaran, Registration No. IBBI/IPA-001/IP-P00681/2017/2018/11178, has been appointed as the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) by the National Company Law Tribunal, Chennai.
Consequently, Mr. G. Gunasekaran assumes the role of Compliance Officer for the company, replacing the present Compliance Officer, Mr. Manoj Kumar Tibrewal.
Mr. G. Gunasekaran will sign as the Compliance Officer for and on behalf of the company going forward.
Any Other Material Information
The company filed an Insolvency Petition CP (BC) No. 310/CHE/2025 under Section 10 of the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016 before the National Company Law Tribunal, Chennai.
The NCLT Chennai admitted the petition and commenced the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) vide its order dated 7 August 2026.
The IRP is mandated to take forward the process of Corporate Insolvency Resolution of the company.
