Board Meeting Outcomes
The Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench has sanctioned the scheme of arrangement amongst GE Power India Limited and JSW Energy Limited and their respective shareholders under Sections 230 to 232 and other applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. The sanction order was dated 01 October 2026.
Other Operational / Legal / Strategic Disclosures
The Scheme was previously approved by the Board of Directors of the Company on 18 September 2025. The Company received observation letters from BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited regarding the Scheme on 02 April 2026. Meetings of Equity Shareholders and Unsecured Creditors of the Company were held pursuant to the Order dated 02 June 2026 of the Hon'ble NCLT, with outcomes communicated on 20 July 2026.
The certified true copy of the sanction order is awaited. The Company will intimate the Effective Date and the Record Date to the Stock Exchanges in due course.
