The Company received a Demand Notice dated 24th June 2026 from the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA). The notice was received on 24th June 2026.
Financial Demand Details
The total demand amount is ₹3,54,12,025 (Three Crore Fifty-Four Lakh Twelve Thousand Twenty-Five Rupees), which consists of two components:
- ₹1,22,91,163 (One Crore Twenty-Two Lakh Ninety-One Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Three Rupees) for alleged overcharging
- ₹2,31,20,862 (Two Crore Thirty-One Lakh Twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-Two Rupees) as interest
Alleged Violations
The demand notice alleges that the Company overcharged in the sale of scheduled formulations by charging prices higher than the price fixed/notified by the Government/NPPA in the relevant period.
Company's Response and Financial Impact
The Company has stated that there is "No impact on financial operations of the Company" and that "The Company would be filing an appeal against demand order."
