Godfrey Phillips India Ltd responded to BSE's clarification request on significant recent volume increase in its security.
The company stated it is unaware of any Unpublished Price Sensitive Information (UPSI) that may have caused the volume spurt.
The increase in trading volume was attributed solely to market conditions, outside the company's control, per Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR 2015.
