HC Directs IDCO to Settle 8-Year Dues

The writ petition (W.P.(C) No.22471 of 2026) concerns admitted dues for the construction of the second floor and renovation of the existing academic building of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, which have remained unpaid for more than eight years.
The matter was taken up in hybrid mode, and the petitioner's representation regarding the pending dues was pending before the concerned authority.

The Court disposed of the writ petition at the admission stage.
It directed the Chief General Manager (Civil), IDCO, Bhubaneswar to consider the petitioner’s grievance as per Annexure‑9 and render a decision in accordance with law within two months of receiving a certified copy of this order along with the writ petition.
An urgent certified copy of the order shall be issued on proper application.
