The High Court of Meghalaya disposed of writ petition WP(C) No. 209 of 2026 filed by M/s H.M.D Food Supply (proprietor Smti. Ayinla) against the Union of India and senior Assam Rifles officials. The petitioner’s counsel sought permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh one, which the court granted.
