ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited received an Order from the Additional Commissioner of CGST (Appeals-I), Chennai on September 30, 2026 at 5:29 p.m. regarding a GST matter.
The appeal was partially allowed in favor of the Company, resulting in a revised GST demand of ₹3,34,646/-, interest under Section 50 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and penalty of ₹97,751/- for the period July 2017 to March 2020.
This relates to the computation of Input Tax Credit eligible to the Company. The Company had previously received an Order from the Assistant Commissioner of GST & Central Excise, Nugambakkam Division, Chennai under Section 73 of the Act, which raised a net GST demand of ₹2,563,372/- (GST + Penalty) excluding interest for the same period.
The Company states it would pursue an appeal and evaluate any other legal options including filing of a writ petition. The disclosure is made under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The Company has stated there is "No impact at this stage" regarding expected financial implications from this order.
