Supreme Court allowed appeal, modifying compensation from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 13 lakh in favor of Nalanda Bansiddhappa Gaikwad.
Rs 6 lakh already disbursed; remaining Rs 7 lakh to be transferred to bank account within two weeks of May 13, 2026.
All other disputes between the parties are declared fully settled, and pending applications, if any, are to be disposed of.
