Jagran Prakashan Limited provides an update regarding Civil Appeal No. 9185 of 2026 filed by Jagran Media Network Investment Private Limited (JMNIPL) before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
The appeal, listed on August 3, 2026, was heard by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Kumar and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva. The matter was adjourned and re-listed for August 10, 2026 due to unserved notices upon some respondents (specifically respondent Nos. 10 and 19).
Despite Ms. Ruby Singh Ahuja, learned counsel, stating that she had entered appearance for the said unserved respondents, the Registry was directed to verify and confirm this. The Court noted that pleadings are complete and directed that the matter would be taken up after completion of the hearing in all other miscellaneous matters.
