JSW Energy Wins Supreme Court GBI Ruling

Supreme Court on March 25, 2026 dismissed AP DISCOMs' appeal, upholding that GBI must be paid to wind power generators over and above tariff.
The ruling sets aside the APERC order dated July 28, 2018 that had permitted AP DISCOMs to deduct Generation Based Incentive from energy payments.
JSW Neo Energy Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, and its subsidiaries are directly impacted positively by this Supreme Court judgment.
