Kalpataru Projects GST Penalty Reduced to ₹56.63 Lakh

Kalpataru Projects received an appellate order reducing its GST penalty from ₹2.64 crore to ₹56.63 lakh for FY 2017-18 to 2021-22.
The company received the appellate order on May 11, 2026, and intends to file a further appeal against the partial ruling.
The original GST demand was received on December 27, 2024, alleging wrong input tax credit and non-payment of tax on corporate guarantees.
