United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), in which Officers Association and Workmen Union of Karur Vysya Bank are affiliated, has given a call for strike on Friday, 11th September 2026.

If the strike call materializes, officers and workmen of the bank may take part in the proposed strike on the said date. In this event, the normal working of the branches/offices of the bank may get affected.

The bank explicitly states that the expected quantum of loss/damage and impact on operations are not quantifiable.
