Kaveri Seed Wins ₹73.25 Cr Tax Appeal

Kaveri Seed Company's appeal against an Income Tax demand of ₹73.25 crore for AY 2020–21 was decided in its favour.
The Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals)-11, Hyderabad allowed the company's claim, treating disputed income as agricultural income.
The original demand raised u/s 143(3) of the IT Act on 30 September 2022 now stands fully set aside with no adverse financial impact.
