Company's Clarification on Financial Results

KEI Industries clarified that the identical figures between standalone and consolidated results arise from its corporate structure and accounting treatment:

• The company has only one Associate Company - KEI Cables SA (Pty) Limited
• The company has no subsidiaries or joint ventures
• Consolidated Financial Statements are prepared in accordance with applicable Ind AS provisions
• The equity method is used for accounting of the Associate Company
• The Associate Company has accumulated losses
• The company's investment in the Associate Company has been fully impaired in accordance with Ind AS 36 - Impairment of Assets
• Consequently, no further share of losses of the Associate Company is recognized in the Consolidated Financial Statements
• There is no further impact arising from the Associate Company on the Consolidated Financial Results
