LIC KMP Dinesh Pant Appointed IRDAI Whole Time Member

Key Appointment Details

The Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, through Notification F.No.R-12011/01/2025-Ins-I dated June 15, 2026, has appointed Shri Dinesh Pant as a Whole Time Member (Actuary) of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).

Dinesh Pant is currently the Managing Director and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of Life Insurance Corporation of India.

Appointment Terms

The appointment is effective from the date of assumption of charge of the post and will continue for:

• A period of five years, OR
• Until attaining the age of 65 years, OR
• Until further orders

Whichever of these conditions occurs earliest.
