- M/s Free Elective Network Private Limited had filed a Suit for Injunction and other reliefs against Matrimony.com Limited for infringement of their mark Jodi365 before the Madras High Court
- The original suit was dismissed by the Hon'ble High Court on July 14, 2022
- In an appeal filed against the dismissal of the suit, the Hon'ble Division Bench of Madras High Court issued an order dated August 11, 2026
- The Division Bench has partially allowed the appeal while dismissing the relief for damages
- Based on legal advice, the company is contemplating filing an appeal before the Hon'ble Supreme Court
