Petitioner Mira Goala (resident of Pandu Temple Ghat, Guwahati-12) filed writ petition WP(C)/2401/2026 against the Union of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment, and three senior officials of N.F. Railway (General Manager, General Manager (Construction), and F.A. and C.A.O. (Pension)).
On 14 October 2026, the Gauhati High Court, before Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Kumar Medhi, heard counsel for both sides.
The petitioner’s counsel requested withdrawal of the petition with liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), which was unopposed.
The Court dismissed the writ petition on withdrawal.
