Mitsu Chem Plast Limited has submitted a clarification to BSE Limited regarding a delay in disclosure required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The company had received a communication from BSE dated November 2, 2026, seeking clarification about the delayed disclosure of a change in the constitution of the Statutory Auditor.

In response, the company disclosed that it had submitted a Corporate Announcement to the Stock Exchange on October 31, 2026, under Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR Regulations, 2015. This announcement intimated the change in constitution of the Statutory Auditor, M/s. Gokhale & Sathe, Chartered Accountants, into M/s. Gokhale & Sathe LLP, with effect from August 27, 2026.

The delay in filing the disclosure was described as "inadvertent" as the email communication regarding this change was inadvertently missed by the company's team. This resulted in the company unintentionally failing to disclose the material event within the prescribed timeline of 24 hours.

The company clarified that there is no change in the Statutory Auditor of the company itself. The only change is that the audit firm M/s. Gokhale & Sathe, Chartered Accountants, has been converted from a firm into a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). Accordingly, the Statutory Auditor and the tenure of their appointment remain unchanged.

The company sincerely regrets the oversight and acknowledges the delay in compliance. They have taken note of the issue and stated they shall strengthen internal monitoring mechanisms to ensure all material events are duly identified and disclosed within prescribed timelines going forward. The company assures that such inadvertent lapses shall not recur in the future.
