The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has identified fraudulent activities by an entity operating under the name "JG Building Group"
The entity is conducting fake recruitment drives by falsely claiming association with MoHUA
Specific fraudulent activities include: issuing fraudulent vacancy notices using MoHUA's name, misleading candidates by claiming authorization/collaboration with the Ministry, seeking monetary consideration from applicants under pretext of providing employment, operating an online platform/website reinforcing false claims
Ministry clarification: MoHUA has not issued any such recruitment notice, MoHUA has not authorized any private agency/entity to undertake recruitment on its behalf
Public advisory: Do not respond to fake recruitment offers, do not share personal or financial information with such entities, do not make any payments in connection with such offers
Reporting mechanism: Incidents should be reported on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal or to local law enforcement authorities
This communiqué is issued in public interest to prevent exploitation of unsuspecting citizens
