MTNL has made a regulatory disclosure in compliance with Regulation 30 & 51 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 regarding the appointment of statutory auditors for the financial year 2026-2027.
The Comptroller and Auditor General of India, through its Letter No./CA.V/COY/CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, MTNL(2)/520 dated September 08, 2026, has appointed the following firms of Chartered Accountants as Joint Statutory Auditors of the Company:
- M/s S L Chhajed & Co LLP, New Delhi
- M/s S P A R K & Associates Chartered Accountants LLP, New Delhi
The disclosure specifically notes that there is no change in the first statutory auditors, with M/s S L Chhajed & Co LLP, New Delhi continuing from the previous year.
Additionally, the appointed Joint Statutory Auditors will also serve as auditors for the Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company under Section 139 read with Section 129(4) of the Companies Act, 2013.
The company has requested both BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited to take this information on record.
