Court assessed claimant’s monthly income at Rs 3,000 and functional disability at 100%, calculating loss of future earnings using multiplier of 18 years.
Additional heads include medical expenses Rs 10,000, special diet Rs 15,000, pain & suffering Rs 2,00,000, loss of happiness Rs 1,00,000, total Rs 12,42,200.
Court ordered interest at 7.5% per annum from claim filing and directed payment within eight weeks to appellant’s bank account.
