NCLAT Grants SIDBI Extension for Appeal Defects

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) heard an application by the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) for condonation of a delay in refiling an appeal.
The appeal was initially e-filed on 17.12.2025, defects were raised on 19.12.2025, and it was refiled with an 82-day delay on 18.03.2026.
The Tribunal listed the case for admission with defects, allowing the appeal to proceed despite the delay.
