The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) rejected an application to condone a delay of 88 days in filing an appeal by Modern Solar Pvt. Ltd. against Claro Energy Pvt. Ltd.
The Tribunal, citing its jurisdictional limit, could only condone a delay of up to 15 days, and thus rejected the application and the accompanying appeal memo.
The appeal was filed against an order dated November 7, 2025, which had rejected a Section 7 application under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
