NCLT Admits Omnibay Insolvency Petition Over ₹2.81 Crore Default

NCLT Kolkata admits Section 7 IBC petition against Omnibay Private Limited for defaulting on a ₹2.81 crore debt to financial creditor Ranisati Constructions.
The court found a financial debt of ₹2.65 crore principal existed, with Omnibay confirming the outstanding balance but disputing the loan agreement's validity.
Moratorium is declared under Section 14, and Mr. Swapnil Jain is appointed as the Interim Resolution Professional to manage the CIRP.
The financial creditor is directed to pay an advance fee of ₹3 lakh to the IRP for initiating the corporate insolvency resolution process.
