NCLT Appoints IRP for UCO Bank Guarantor

UCO Bank filed an insolvency application under Section 95 IBC against personal guarantor Prafulla Deka for M/s Lohit Construction Pvt. Ltd.
The bank invoked the guarantee and demanded repayment of Rs. 1,41,15,28,508.09 from the guarantor on 09.04.2025.
NCLT appointed Amit Pareek as Interim Resolution Professional with a remuneration of Rs. 50,000 payable by UCO Bank.
The IRP is to file a report under Section 99 by 24.04.2026 for further consideration.
