NCLT Bengaluru orders Kotak Mahindra Bank to release title deeds and security documents for project Arun Aurovilla to the resolution applicant.
The resolution applicant paid full Rs 53.42 crore principal and an additional Rs 4.55 crore interest under protest to comply with the approved plan.
The bank had refused document release citing pending NCLAT appeals on interest waiver, which the tribunal deemed an invalid reason for retention.
The tribunal directed the bank to hand over all original documents within 15 days to ensure successful implementation of the resolution plan.
