NCLT Dismisses Sahiti Green Homes Homebuyers' CIRP Inclusion Plea

NCLT Hyderabad dismissed an application by 30 Sahitha Green Homes homebuyers seeking inclusion in the CIRP of Sahiti Infratec's other project, Sahiti Sarvani Elite.
The tribunal ruled the ongoing CIRP is confined solely to Sahiti Sarvani Elite, the project basis for the original Section 7 petition.
Homebuyers alleged Rs 30 crore collected for their cancelled project was diverted, but the RP cited a lack of land documents and legal agreements.
The RP admitted total claims of Rs 419.56 crore from 2,110 creditors, with homebuyers constituting 89.45% (Rs 269.86 crore) of admitted debt.
