Order Date: 12/06/2026

Case Overview

This order pertains to an application (IA/812(AHM)2026) filed by the Resolution Professional (RP) of JRA Infrastructure Limited under Section 60(5) of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The application sought a 60-day extension of the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP). The corporate debtor, JRA Infrastructure Limited, was admitted into CIRP on 25/04/2025 following a petition filed by HDFC Bank Limited under Section 7 of the IBC (CP(IB)/365(AHM)2024). The CIRP had previously been extended by 90 days via an order dated 11/05/2026 (IA No. 553 of 2026) and was scheduled to expire on 21/05/2026. The current RP, Mr. Parshva Manoj Shah, was appointed on 11/05/2026 (IA No. 645 of 2026) and submitted that upon taking charge, he needed additional time to obtain records from the erstwhile Interim Resolution Professional and to complete the CIRP process and related compliances. The Committee of Creditors (CoC), in its 5th meeting held on 15/05/2026, approved the extension with a 100% voting share and authorized the RP to file this application.

Final Outcome

The NCLT bench, comprising Member (Judicial) Mr. Shammi Khan and Member (Technical) Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, allowed the application. The CIRP period for JRA Infrastructure Limited is formally extended by 60 days, from 22/05/2026 to 20/07/2026. The Resolution Professional is directed to complete the CIRP within this extended period in accordance with the law. The application IA/812(AHM)2026 stands allowed and disposed of.
