Authority: National Company Law Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench – II
Order Date: 16 June 2026
Case Overview
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Hyderabad Bench-II, presided over by Member (Judicial) Shri Rajeev Bhardwaj and Member (Technical) Shri Sanjay Puri, heard three Interlocutory Applications (IAs) related to the main insolvency petition CP (IB) No.306/10/HDB/2017. The main petition was filed by NSL Nagapatnam Power & Infratech Limited under Section 10 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). The hearing was conducted in a hybrid mode (VC and Physical). The three applications heard were IA (IBC)/702/2025, IA (IBC)/1763/2024, and IA (IBC)/1762/2024.
For IA (IBC)/702/2025, the applicant had filed an amended copy which was listed with a defect due to a delay in filing. The bench condoned this delay. The Learned Counsel for Respondent No.4 was directed to file a counter within two weeks, and the applicant was given one week thereafter to file a rejoinder, if any.
For the other two applications, IA (IBC)/1763/2024 and IA (IBC)/1762/2024, the tribunal noted that the pleadings were already completed.
Final Outcome
The bench adjourned all three interlocutory applications to the next date of hearing, which is 28 July 2026, for further proceedings. This is a procedural order dealing solely with the scheduling of hearings and the completion of pleadings; it does not contain any substantive ruling on the merits of the insolvency case.
