NCLT Orders Vakratund Township Restoration for Tax Recovery

NCLT Indore allows Income Tax Department's appeal to restore Vakratund Township Private Limited to the register of companies.
Restoration is for the limited purpose of completing reassessment proceedings for AY 2017-18 involving ₹5.78 crore.
The order directs the company to file all overdue statutory returns and financial statements with the Registrar of Companies.
The Tribunal cites CBDT circulars and MCA clarification that tax authorities are aggrieved creditors entitled to seek restoration.
