Nitta Gelatin India Limited has submitted a regulatory disclosure to BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. This communication serves as an update to their previous letter dated 05.06.2026 regarding the revision of Standard Input Output Norms (SION) for Gelatin and Ossein.
The company has made representations to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) through its industry body, advocating for a restatement of the SION based on a technical assessment. Following a legal evaluation of the matter, the company has concluded that this revision of SION norms will have no financial impact on its operations.
As a risk mitigation measure, the company's customers for Ossein and Limed Ossein have formally agreed to absorb any potential financial obligation should the company be liable to pay the government due to a shortfall in meeting export obligations. Furthermore, starting from July 2026, the company has transitioned to importing under the Duty Drawback Scheme.
Based on the current assessment of these developments, the change in SION has no significant financial bearing on the company. The disclosure was signed by Vinod Mohan, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, on 31.07.2026 at 17:46:05 IST.
