Plaintiffs Ajifa Khatun (widow of late Amir Hussian), Rahila Khatun, Afrail alias Akrail Hussain, Afrin Sultana and Afirul Hussain filed an interim application against Oriental Insurance Company Ltd, Regional Office, Guwahati, before the Gauhati High Court (Case No. I.A.(Civil)/2733/2026). Counsel for the plaintiffs was Mr. D. Mondal and counsel for the insurer was Ms. R. D. Mozumdar. The applicants stated they were not intending to press the interim application.
