Key Compliance Requirements
- Physical shareholders must furnish PAN, KYC details including email, mobile number, specimen signature, and bank account details
- Compulsory linking of PAN and Aadhaar is required - PAN not linked to Aadhaar will not be considered KYC compliant
- Shareholders must provide nomination details using Form SH-13 or opt-out using Form ISR-3
Consequences of Non-Compliance
- Shareholders with incomplete KYC will be ineligible to lodge grievances or avail any service requests from the RTA
- Dividends, interest, or redemption payments for physical folios with incomplete KYC will be processed electronically only after registration completion
- No physical warrants or demand drafts will be issued for incomplete KYC folios
Required Documentation
- Form ISR-1 duly filled with self-attested PAN card and Aadhaar for KYC updation
- Form ISR-2 with banker attestation of signature along with original cancelled cheque or self-attested bank passbook/statement copy, with latest passport size photograph
- Form SH-13 for nomination updation with self-attested PAN card or other nominee identity proof

- Electronic submissions must be sent from registered email ID and all documents must be electronically/digitally signed by shareholder (first joint holder in case of joint holdings)
Additional Important Information
- Effective April 1, 2019, transfer of securities is permitted only in dematerialized form as per SEBI notifications
- Shareholders are requested to convert physical shares to demat form for seamless transactions and risk mitigation
