RailTel Cancels Rs 26.73 Crore SECR Contract

RailTel Corporation cancels a Rs 26.73 crore optical fiber cable contract with South East Central Railway due to war-induced cost inflation.
The project became unviable because of a steep increase in prices of OFC, HDPE pipes, and other materials.
The customer has consequently terminated the contract awarded to RailTel for the supply and laying work.
