Regulatory Compliance Disclosure

RBL Bank Limited has received a show cause notice (SCN) dated September 29, 2026, from the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax-Mumbai under Section 73 of Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.

The notice proposes a GST demand of ₹1,73,08,68,535 (approximately ₹173.09 crore) including interest and penalty for the financial year 2022-23.

The demand relates to input tax credit availed by the Bank under the separate GST registration obtained for its Digital Banking business vertical.

Bank's Response and Assessment

The Bank will submit its response to the show cause notice within the prescribed timelines.

Based on its assessment including favorable orders received from the GST authorities on identical issues for FY 2018-19 and FY 2019-20, the Bank believes it has adequate grounds to contest the matter on merits.

The Bank does not presently expect the matter to result in any material adverse impact on its financial position, operations, or profitability.
